What grades does the school serve?

​We currently serve kindergarten through upper elementary students. Our goal is to expand to additional grades in the future.

​

What is the academic screening?
All Academy applicants grades K5 and up will complete an academic screening as part of the admissions process. Depending on the grade, this can include sections of a standardized achievement test, as well as reading and writing activities. The screenings last anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending upon the applicant’s grade. You will schedule your child’s screening appointment when you complete your application. 
 

How much will it cost for my child to attend ESA?
Financial information is available here. To receive future year’s tuition information, simply fill out the Inquiry Form to be on our admissions information email list. 
 

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes, we provide a tuition assistance program for families who demonstrate financial need. Financial aid is determined through an independent, third-party evaluation.

Can I take a tour of the school?
Absolutely! We would love to show you what ESA has to offer your family. To schedule a tour, simply fill out the Inquiry Form or contact our Admissions department.
 

What is the student-to-teacher ratio?

Our small class sizes maintain a student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1, ensuring personalized attention for every child.

Is there an application fee?​

Yes, there is a $45 nonrefundable application fee.

Do students need to wear uniforms?​

Yes, we have a uniform policy to foster a sense of community and minimize distractions. Details about the uniform can be found in the Parent Handbook.

 

What makes your curriculum unique?​

Our curriculum combines traditional academic rigor with hands-on learning, creative exploration, and life skills. Additionally, we tentatively adopt the Big Picture Learning curriculum, which emphasizes real-world application.

Do you support students with IEPs or special needs?​

Absolutely! We are committed to catering to the needs of all learners, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Our team works closely with families to create a supportive learning environment.

What are your school hours?​

The school operates from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

About the Literacy Center

 

What is the Literacy Center?
The Literacy Center is a specialized program designed to help students improve their reading and writing skills. It provides individualized support through tutoring, interactive activities, and targeted instruction for all learners, including those with learning differences.

Who can participate in the Literacy Center?
The Literacy Center is open to students of all grades who need extra support in literacy or want to advance their reading and writing skills.

 

What services does the Literacy Center offer?

We offer:

  • One-on-one and small group tutoring.

  • Diagnostic assessments to identify specific needs.

  • Enrichment programs focused on reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.

How often are Literacy Center sessions held?
Sessions are available bi-monthly during the school year, with a special 4-week summer literacy program starting in June.

 

Is there a cost for the Literacy Center?
Yes, there is a fee for the summer program. Financial aid may be available for families who qualify.

About the Online Tutoring Program

 

What subjects are covered in the Online Tutoring Program?
Our program focuses on reading and math for students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

 

How are online classes structured?
Classes are held Monday through Thursday in small groups or 1:1 to ensure individualized attention. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and aligned with state standards.

What are the subscription options?

  • Monthly Plan:

    • 1:1 Session is  $21 per class.

    • Small Group Sessions are $10.50 per class.

  • Annual Plan: 

    • 1:1 Session is $19 per class.

    • Small Group Sessions are $9.50 per class, with a commitment for the full year.

 

 Who are the tutors?
Our tutors are certified educators with extensive experience in online instruction and personalized learning.

 

How do I sign up for the Online Tutoring Program?
Visit the "Online Tutoring" page on our website and follow the registration process. Once enrolled, you’ll receive an email with login details and schedules.
